One of Sweden's older bands in the black metal world, Algaion were also one of the first to lose the little attention they had by slowing down and rocking out. Known more for the antics of their vocalist's mind than they were for their music at first. They've managed to more or less hold up over time.. at least to Xul. A melodic approach to black metal is what you find, with General Enmity being a much slower affair with groove. Not an essential band by any means, but you may find something interesting here, especially in the vocal approach. Recently reformed, go figure.
