Ugly, as black metal should be. A reverb soaked recording, vocals dripping with delay, a natural sound to the instruments (if you're going to use a drummer, record a drummer). This feels like something you can record in a garage, and I mean that as a total compliment. You can practically feel the humidity, the smell of the mold on the walls, the old beer signs, the porn stashes and that bag of beer cans you haven't yet recycled. The sound of a garage that the neighbor kids run by quickly, for fear of being snatched by something they know they just should not spend much time around. I can see Tom Warrior getting sued for back child support for this creation. His seed was obviously shot all over this one.
