This is a band I simply cannot pick one album to represent, always a new and interesting twist to each album with surprises and delights to be found consistently.
Often hated in the US social circles for pointless social reasons (the music speaks, who really gives a shit about anything else?).
Krieg is simply an amazing work that truly speaks to a fan with tastes developed enough to understand it. Thus I cannot recommend this band enough. I could not pick a single album, so here are 2 later works which represented Krieg at their most developed stage.
