Something so utterly ugly, so disgustingly terrible to listen to, that it rots your eyes with its vibrations, krushes your nose with its stamping distortion, and shakes your brain violently like a crazed mother that has had enough of her crying new born.

Imagine finding an album that contains a song that instantly sends shooting visions into your mind of T-800's punching the fukk out of each other in an engine room, screaming their cyborg curses, and totally destroying everything. See Track - 3.

All in all, I'm glad and feel lucky to have discovered this album/band, as I believe it is a true representation of what can be created with enough wires, hate and of course, Xul in your soul/CPU.

Menace Ruine - Union of Irreconcilables

As seen and heard in the early days of Xul, we have these Canadians back with a brand new album.

Adding elements of neo-folk and industrial/noise touches to the mix, we find ourselves with a unique album.

The sound hasn't changed, just the amount of colours used to paint with.

Another interesting album for you to ponder, gaze into the abyss and seek answers as to why you're still alive.

Sistrenaus

A distress signal from the outer realms.

You can't quite make out what the message may be in your rational mind, but deep within your soul, you know by the terror that freezes your marrow, it isn't a positive thing you hear.


This is a glimpse at what the future sounds like, ghostly technologikal dread, sending waves of warning through your brain, urging you to ready yourself for the years to come, you'll be running for your life as the things we created to serve us serve themselves.

Panicking sweat and visions of morbid ends scream past your eyes, heating up your ears and then suddenly you're cold as you realize you just threw yourself out of a fukking window. So at least try to make it past the first song and maybe the above won't happen.

Abruptum

At the time of death metal's stagnancy and black metal's rise in the early 90s there were those that wanted to break down the structure of what extreme metal had become and go completely off the wall in sound. Abruptum was one band that was the result of this. Coming across as improv musicians so wasted on heroin that they could hardly play... their focus instead shifted to creating an unsettling atmosphere. One of horror, tension, dread... a black basement with you chained to a wall, watching the slow and deliberate torture of your cell mates. Begging only that your death will be more gentle and quicker than the tormented screams and howls of the victims that come before you. A tongue removed here, a kneecap pried off there.. All the while with some madman staring and keeping a rhythmic pace that matters only to them at the time.
They summed it up best themselves "The Audial Essence of Pure Black Evil". This is a collection of their earlier works and albums. Just try and keep your sanity during this, Just Fukking Try.

The stuff nightmares are often said to sound like, only worse.

This is probably a Xul exclusive, the demos are limited to 73 and 94 copies(the five track being the 94)Fukk it, who cares about the order of things, these are just demos.

I doubt these are available on any other blogs, so this could well be a WOX exclusive, if not go shit yourself.

I'm sure the main man behind this wouldn't have sold these to me if he knew I was going to post his work within 3 hours of obtaining them, fukk him, he's just a pawn in Xul's game.

Musically, this is Atmospheric Black Metal, or Ambient Black Metal, which ever one you think suits best. Xul just thinks this is exactly the type of obscure shit you need to hear, even if it's just a case of being able to boast on your melodeath forum bashing mission.
